megan has been performing since the age of two and a half and has been involved with the running of performng arts activity clubs since 2008.
she graduated from queen mary university of london in 2019 with a bachelor of arts degree in english and drama and later that year set up miniver theatre company with fellow graduate andrei cotocu.
​
her show at this stage debuted at the edinburgh fringe festival in 2019 before going on to tour the south of england and in 2022, the sell out show love you & leave you (dead) - also written by megan - was performed at the new wimbledon theatre studio in london.
​
Revolting rhymes - a short play written by megan - was performed by drama dronfield at the dronfield civic centre in 2018 and the twelve dancing princesses - a full length pantomime written by megan - was performed in 2021 at the sheffield college.
​
after living in edinburgh for two years, megan moved back close to home and to continue doing what she loves through miniver academy.

jULIE HAS BEEN INVOLVED WITH AMATEUR DRAMATIC PANTOMIMES AND PRODUCTIONS FOR MANY YEARS BOTH OFFSTAGE AND ON, AND HAS TAKEN ON MANY LEADING PARTS AND STAGE MANAGEMENT AMONGST MANY OTHER THEATRE ROLES.
​
SHE CURRENTLY WORKS AS A Gymnastics TEACHER AT THE DRONFIELD SPORTS CENTRE AND IS ENJOYING COMBINING HER LOVE OF TEACHING AND DRAMA THROUGH MINIVER ACADEMY.
​
HER FAVOURITE ROLES INCLUDE PLAYING ERMA IN ANYTHING GOES, THE TIN MAN IN The WIZARD OF OZ, AND STARRING AS THE PRINCIPAL BOY ALADDIN IN THE PANTOMIME ALADDIN WHICH SHE HAS DONE THREE TIMES (OH YES SHE HAS)!
JULIE BALLIN
Emily has been taking part in shows since the age of three, starting by dancing with Dance Dronfield, and then performing in school shows and with Drama Dronfield and Dronfield Musical Theatre Group. Her favourite roles that she has played so far are Marta (The Sound of Music), Sharon (Made in Dagenham), and Duffy (Annie).
​
She recently joined Splinters Theatre Company, a youth theatre company for young people aged 14 to 30 and took part in Their show Our House where she was part of the ensemble and had two small parts.
​
She has experience choreographing for school productions and is now taking on the role of choreographer and drama teacher for Miniver Academy which she is thoroughly enjoying.
​
She is currently studying childhood studies at chesterfield college.
Emily BALLIN
Jack has been involved in productions from the age of nine, taking on principal roles at school, Drama Dronfield, and Dronfield Musical Theatre Group—including playing the lead character of Oliver in Oliver! The Musical which is his favourite role to date. Since then, he has also played Friedrich (The Sound of Music) and Mendel (Fiddler on the Roof), and the title role of Dick in Dick Whittington.
​
He started volunteering at Miniver Academy as part of his college work experience and is now Head Technician of Lighting and Sound (and everything else technical).
​
He is currently studying Technical Theatre and Stage Management at university.​
